The Wing/Foster Family

This photo shoot was very special.  Our very close friends son, Will, was being baptized by his dad and both sets of grandparents came into town from Florida for the occasion.  It was a perfect opportunity for family photos.  I love them all so dearly!

The Many Sides of Sam

An old co-worker contacted me to take her daughters senior photos.  There's a first for everything and Sam was a great first senior to photograph.  She was willing to pose how I asked her to even if it meant climbing on top of a stack of possibly unsteady firewood.  I did test them out first.  You'll see below why I titled this series The Many Sides of Sam.

She fences!  How cool is that??

Kaitlyn Turns One!

This diva is the talk of the toddler town and she turned one in June.  I shouldn't have this much fun doing work but her parents are great party throwers.  Thanks for the invite guys!

I love this tutu!

Kaitlyn's brother, Logan.  A complete crack up.

As women, even little women, we suffer for beauty

She thoroughly enjoyed her cake

Todd and Sarah's Wedding

Todd and Sarah had a small and intimate ceremony  at a botanical garden in North Carolina.  I work with Sarah and she asked me to photograph their day.  I was nervous as all get out because both Sarah and Todd are great photographers.  But I felt more privileged than anything.  Congratulations to both of you!

The Davis Family

When I had a planned trip to Ohio I was honored by being asked to take family photos for the Davis family on their property.  Greg Davis is the pastor at my mom's church and they have such a sweet family.  Below are some pictures from their shoot.

Seth & Mandie

Meet Seth & Mandie.  Mandie has been a friend since she moved here from Charlotte a couple of years ago.  More than a friend actually.  She's in my pod.  Their story is so beautiful.  They knew each other in high school and were extremely close friends in college but their paths took them in different directions.  In June of 2009 they came in contact with each other again and started dating.  I love them both dearly and they are a fantastic couple.  For their one year anniversary Seth surprised Mandie with a photo shoot.  A girl after my own heart she loves having her picture taken.

Love you guys!

Sean, Emily and The Pack

And what a pack it is!  Can you imagine having 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 people in a picture?  That's what we had and it turned out great!  They used one of the photos as their Christmas card and when it came in the mail I felt so blessed.  You guys rock!!

Doggies love treats as reward!

I think mom and dad my need treats as well.
